Free Online Introduction to Peer Support in the Workplace
August 7, from 1:00 - 2:00pm CST

This introduction to Peer Support in the workplace is a great start to any business owner, employer, and employee. When mental health and mental wellness is top on your list - why not take a look at how Peer Support can help.

Robyn and her company have been instrumental in creating and implementing Peer Support in the following organizations: hospitals, governments, unions, non profit organizations and businesses.

Robyn Priest LIVE YOUR TRUTH tailors the Peer Support training and implementation to meet the need of the client. All training materials take into account the employees' skills, abilities and attributes, as well as the values and role of peer supporter workers within that specific company. This includes: communication, interpersonal skills, critical thinking, teamwork and collaboration, ethics and reliability.

All Robyn Priest LIVE YOUR TRUTH training materials incorporate the following: The Peer Support Canada Knowledge Matrix requirements related to peer support delivery, The Mental Health Commission of Canada’s (MHCC) peer support values (as outlined in the Guidelines for the Practice and Training of Peer Supporters), The principles of trauma informed support; and Related components of the MHCC National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety. The Robyn Priest Live Your Truth materials are also fully integrated with mental health and addictions. Robyn Priest LIVE YOUR TRUTH, is a mental health and peer support education and strategy firm.

All programs are designed and delivered by people with their own experience of living with a mental health issue, or a family member of someone living with a mental health issue. Why? To demystify the many misconceptions of mental health issues from a perspective of someone who has lived it, so we can educate people to go after, and live the life of their dreams. Their “REAL” truth.
