Ten years ago, we launched a video series featuring people who have lived with and managed mental illness at work, outside of work, and when returning to work. We recently had the amazing gift of reuniting many of the same individuals and some new folks who provide us with both insights and practical advice. They are not only improving mental health awareness for everyone, they are providing a type of virtual peer support for those who may be currently struggling.
When we are struggling, it can often seem like we alone and we may be unsure where to turn for help. Navigating workplace services, community resources, insurance companies, and mental health services may feel overwhelming. The people in the videos share their stories of struggle, what worked for them, suggest what they would have done differently, and offer hope and support from where they are today.
